Visitor Center in Srní remains closed!
Zoologists from the Šumava National Park Administration focused over the weekend on monitoring wolf movements, especially in the area between Srní and Hartmanice. Through their own tracking and reports from the public, they discovered that a wolf, possibly one of those that escaped from the enclosure, has been observed increasingly close to the visitor center. This morning, capture traps were activated around the enclosure, and the visitor center will remain closed to the public until the end of this week. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to those who planned a visit, but the successful capture of the escaped wolves is a priority and all necessary measures must be taken. Thank you for your understanding.
