About the Centre<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The information centre introduces visitors to nature in the \u0160umava National Park and the \u0160umava Protected Landscape Area.<\/p>

The permanent exhibition<\/strong> focuses on water in the \u0160umava landscape, providing information about peat bogs and wetlands, glacial lakes as well as water courses and their importance in retaining water in the landscape.<\/p>

Other parts inform visitors about forest ecosystems, their fauna and flora, and relationships within the food web. Special attention is paid to those mysterious night flyers \u2013 bats \u2013 who find suitable hibernation grounds around Ka\u0161persk\u00e9 Hory.<\/p>

Visitors can also reflect upon environmental problems and our responsibility toward future generations.<\/p>

The centre is designed for all ages. At the core of the attractions that are targeted mainly at children, there are fun knowledge tests, many types of wooden puzzles, and a model of a fox den.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The 40-seat screening room provides a range of audiovisual shows dedicated to nature and history.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tScreenings, lectures, discussions, and other educational events are all part of programmes for the public. <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  • \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn winter, snowshoeing events, creative workshops, and lecture series including displays of travel photos from around the world are top attractions.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
