About the Centre<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A result of Czech-Bavarian cooperation in the field of environmental protection, the Al\u017eb\u011bt\u00edn Information Centre is located in the historical building of the \u017delezn\u00e1 Ruda-Al\u017eb\u011bt\u00edn\/Bayerisch Eisenstein railway station.<\/p>

The national border between Germany and the Czech Republic runs through the middle of the station building.<\/strong><\/p>

Since 2015, Al\u017eb\u011bt\u00edn IC also serves as an entrance to the NaturparkWelten (Nature Park World<\/em>) \u2013 a complex of exhibitions in the German part of the former border building.<\/p>

Visiting this part of the building is subject to a fee. The basement hosts the European Bat Centre<\/strong>, other floors are home to the Velk\u00fd Javor exhibition<\/strong>, the Museum of Skiing<\/strong>, an exhibition about railway construction with a 1:87 scale model railway<\/strong>, introducing this fascinating world to all visitors, young and old.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
