Due to reconstruction, the footbridge near the wolf enclosure is CLOSED until further notice.
Inside the center, visitors can view an exhibition and watch short films about wolves. It is also possible to book a lecture or an educational program. The educational trail with playful and informative activities around the Visitor Center will be open until the end of October.
A parking lot will be in operation, and the parking fees have been reduced. The first 30 minutes of parking are free Parking for up to 4 hours costs 100 CZK Parking for more than 4 hours (maximum until 9:00 PM) costs 200 CZK
With this step, we offer visitors the opportunity to at least explore the exhibition at the Srní Visitor Center, use the available facilities, and set off on a trip. For example, from the Visitor Center towards Srní or Rokyta, and further around the Vchynicko-Tetov Canal, or along the Povydří educational trail.

About the center
The centre is dedicated to carnivores.
Součástí venkovního areálu je vlčí výběh s vyhlídkovou lávkou.
There is a playground next to the centre building.
Spaces available for 80 cars and 3 buses (parking machine).
What the centre offers
- The wolf enclosure covers about three hectares.
- There is a footbridge passing through the enclosure; 300 m long, it is elevated 3-4 m above the ground and has observation shelters.
- Outside the enclosure, there is a nature trail with information about carnivore tracks that can be found in Šumava, as well as some local trees and plants.
- The footbridge in the exhibit contains information on communication among wolves.
