Kvilda and Bučina Museum of History
Standing exhibit:    Historical development of Kvilda and Bučina communities, the Golden Path in the vicinity of Kvilda, local households and craftwork, models of bygone structures, Kvilda glass paintings
Visitor hours:    Vary subject to the season.

 Museum of Šumava, Železná Ruda
Standing exhibit:    Ornamental and tableware glassware, relics from the Abele glass-making family, historical furniture, paintings on glass with a mirror background, tools for blacksmithing and smithery items.
Visitor hours:    All the year round; closed on Mondays

Jewish Museum Dobrá Voda
Standing exhibit:    Memorial to historian and rabbi Dr Šimon Adler, the culture and religion of Jewish populations in the West Bohemian borderlands. In addition to visiting the museum, taking a tour of the church with its glass altar is possible.
Visitor hours:    All the year round; closed on Mondays

Museum of Šumava, Sušice
Standing exhibit:    Archaeological findings, Gothic sculptures, tinware treasures, library of the Capuchin Order, Šumava glass, relics from era of the Czech National Revival, historical furniture, the oldest matchsticks, Karel Klostermann, Karel Polata.
Visitor hours:    May to October; closed on Mondays
           
Tours outside of standard opening hours are possible for pre-booked groups.

Museum of Šumava, Kašperské Hory
Standing exhibit:    Animal and plant sciences, geology, nature conservation, settlements, housing, farming, the timber industry, hunting, glass-making, gold mining, folk art, Gothic and Baroque sculptures, paintings and engravings with motifs typical for Šumava
Visitor hours:    May to October; closed on Mondays

Museum, Chateau Vimperk
Standing exhibit:    Glass-making, letterpress printing, Šumava's countryside, the town's history & Šumava's local railways
Visitor hours:    May to October; closed on Mondays

Memorial - Adalbert Stifter Native House, Horní Planá
Standing exhibit:    Entitled Adalbert Stifter and His Homeland, the display lends an insight into the personality of the Austrian writer and painter, in addition to his relationship with his native homeland and region, chronologically – from a biographical and creative perspective.
Visitor hours:    Vary subject to the season.
Tours can be booked outside standard opening hours.

Museum of Schwarzenberg Navigation Canal, Chvalšiny

Standing exhibit:    History of the community of Chvalšiny, Blanský les PLA, forestry and wood industry in Šumava, Josef Rosenauer - a native of Chvalšiny - and his work in technological advancement, history and significance of the Schwarzenberg navigation canal, a model of the canal route, timber slides and water reservoirs in the terrain of Šumava, documentation of current efforts to save this valuable industrial monument
Visitor hours:    April to October; closed on Mondays

Prachatice Museum
Standing exhibit:    The Golden Path and archaeology, Renaissance, shooting targets, Šumava glass, sacred art, the personality of John Nepomucene Neumann
Visitor hours:    March to December; closed on Mondays
           
Čeňkova Pila Hydropower Plant
Standing exhibit:    The history and development of the power industry in West Bohemia, especially the hydropower plants of Vydra, Čeňkova Pila and Černé Jezero
Visitor hours:    June to September; closed on Mondays
Tours start at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Tours outside of standard opening hours are possible for pre-booked groups.

Museum of Vintage Motorbikes & Czech Toy Exhibit, Kašperské Hory
Standing exhibit:    An exhibit of vintage motorcycles and bicycles, display of Czech folk toys from typical toy-making regions that also highlights production by present-day Czech toy-makers which utilise natural materials.
Visitor hours:    Daily basis; 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Groups can book in advance outside of peak season, i.e. September to May
