For better orientation within the Šumava National Park and Protected Landscape Area and to obtain further information, we recommend that you visit our information centres. The NP and PLA staff will be pleased to answer any questions in addition to presenting slides and videos and you can also choose from a wide range of information and promotional materials that will always come in handy as a guide.

You can add to your knowledge at various other locations, for example at the self information service or at the information points. If you are not sure what to do, the information centre staff, rangers, forest administration staff and all employees of the Šumava NP and PLA will be pleased to assist you.

- Information points on the village outskirts - Borová Lada, Kvilda and Modrava

- Information on natural attractions - glacial lakes, springs of the rivers Vltava, Březník and the Roklanský stream

- Březník - reconstructed historic Schwarzenberg gamekeeper's lodge (operates as a seasonal Information Centre)
